Have you been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and suffer with insomnia?

Alzheimer disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by progressive loss of memory and cognitive function. AD is the most common form of dementia. It is currently estimated to afflict approximately 5.4 million people in the United States. Clinical Research Associates is currently conducting a research study for people 50 to 90 years old who have Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and insomnia. This 9 week study is looking at an FDA approved medication verses placebo (inactive ingredient) for AD related insomnia.

Who is eligible to participate?

To qualify to participate, you must:

  • Be between 50 and 90 years of age
  • Have Alzheimer's and problems sleeping
  • Have no history of stroke
  • Have a trial partner/caregiver

What does the study involve?

The study lasts a total of 9 weeks. 3 visits to our offices and 3 over nights in a sleep lab are required. Compensation for your time and travel are available for patient and caregiver, up to $2,400 total.
