Where the medicines of tomorrow are evaluated today.
Is your child coughing?
Clinical Research Associates is conducting a research study to learn more about an investigational drug that contains dextromethorphan hydrobromide (DXM HBr), a common ingredient found in cough medications. This ingredient is already approved in the United States. Even thought it is found in approved cough medications, DXM HBr is considered investigational for the purposes of this study. We will be comparing the effects of the study drurg with that of a placebo (no active ingredient) in children with a common cold or upper respiratory tract infection. The results of this study will provide information about the use of DXM HBr in children with a cough.
Who is eligible to participate?
To qualify for this study, your child must:
What does the study entail?
