Clinical Research Associates is currently seeking overweight, but otherwise relatively healthy, volunteers who are at least 18 to 70 years of age to participate in a 2 year research study evaluating the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication for weight loss.

To qualify:
• 18-70 years of age
• Healthy overweight/obese male or female
• Willing to complete a daily food diary & follow a prescribed diet and exercise program
• Attend frequent office visits

Qualified participants will receive at no cost:

• Frequent dietary counseling
• Study related examinations and labs
• Study medication or placebo (an inactive substance)

• Compensation for time and travel
