Do you have to take medication for heartburn/GERD?
We are conducting a study for people who take a class of medications called PPIs for their GERD-related symptoms. Examples of PPIs are PrevacidÒ, PrilosecÒ, ProtonixÒ, ZegeridÒ AciphexÒ and NexiumÒ. The purpose of this study is to determine if taking the investigational study drug will control your GERD symptoms in a similar way as your current medication.
You may qualify if you are:
- At least 18 years of age
- Taking twice-daily medication (detailed above) that controls your heartburn/GERD symptoms
- Generally in good health
Qualified participants will receive study-related medical care and study medication at no cost, as well as compensation for time and travel.
