Today’s flu vaccines are made from eggs.
Researchers need your help evaluating a vaccine made by a different process that may allow vaccines to be available more quickly.
Current flu vaccines are made using chicken eggs and take time to produce. The production time and the limited supply of eggs may reduce vaccine availability, should a sudden flu outbreak occur.
Local doctors are now evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational flu vaccine that is made without the use of chicken eggs.
You may qualify for this study if you are:
• 18-64 years old
• Generally healthy
Participants who complete screening and are determined eligible by the study doctor will receive vaccination at no cost. Compensation for time and travel may also be provided.
