Clinical Research Associates has a study that you might qualify for...
It is estimated that between 3 and 6 million Americans have Fibromyalgia. Of these, 80% are women. The cause(s) is unknown. Its primary symptom is muscle pain throughout the body or at certain points. Besides widespread pain, Fibromyalgia is associated with symptoms such as tissue tenderness, muscle stiffness, fatigue, anxiety, and disturbances in sleep, mood and cognition.
Clinical Research Associates is conducting a 19-week, 8-visit research study for Fibromyalgia. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of an investigational medication compared to placebo (an inactive substance) in alleviating the pain and fatigue of Fibromyalgia.
