Clinical Research Associates has a study that you might qualify for...
The Center for Disease Control has recommended the vaccine ZOSTAVAX™ to help prevent shingles (herpes zoster virus). ZOSTAVAX™ is currently approved as a shingles vaccination for ages 60 and older; but according to the CDC, shingles is most common in individuals aged 50 and older. Clinical Research Associates is conducting a research study to evaluate the investigational use of ZOSTAVAX™ versus placebo (an inactive substance) in adults aged 50 to 59.
This research study requires two office visits and monthly follow-up phone calls. If you are 50 to 59 years old, have never had shingles, and are generally healthy, then you may qualify for participation in this study. Eligible study participants will receive study medication and study-related medical evaluations at no cost. Compensation for time and travel will be provided.
If you are interested in participating in this research study, please fill out the brief form to the right and a recruiting coordinator will contact you. Or, call the Recruiting Coordinator at 615-329-2222
